Good food at Lola’s best

In this city there’s too many fast food and I get so fed up eating fried that’s why when I found out about Lola’s best I’d always want to eat here. I even bring friends along even if its not that fancy looking restaurant.

There’s something with Lola’s best that makes me want to have my breakfast or lunch here. Maybe its the pinoy food they serve… mmm or just missin’ my mom’s home cooked meals. :)

I know its a little difficult to spot the location for new comers but its at the back of Executive building. For Manileños its at Jupiter street.

Plains and Prints

This blog is evolving to something more personal.

We do have office uniforms… but I never wore any of them. I hate being too formal it makes me look old plus my “ME” character gets erased.

Even so I don’t wear the freaky office uniform I make it to a point that I still look presentable most specially if I have a meeting.

Today, its a plain long sleeves with a perfect wing at the sleeves and collar paired it up with a colorful printed skirt. Now to flaunt my waist line I wore a huge black belt to give me that hourglass shape (“Feeling meron pero wala” LOL).

Readers, I totally want to hear from you. :) Do you think I should dress down more… like more casual for everyday stuff? Seriously I’m not a fashion blogger before but I’m starting to love it. It brings out more of my creative side. Well anyway if you want me to wear something else… you can say it, I’d be your Barbie doll (Asian version). ;)

I got a little lazy on wearing any embellishments since my dress has too much pleats and ruffles already.

Since not all dresses is not figure flattering I needed to wear a belt just so people wouldn’t say that I was pregnant which I’m not.:P

Dress and slippers doesn’t always look good together but hey I think I missed out on that rule.

What do you think guys?

xoxo,

Dysport & SkinStation for my face

May 17 when the brand Dysport was introduced to me by SkinStation and was explained very well (about the beneficial effects on the long run). I must say I was convinced.

I think explaining to client what the product is for would prevent them from complaining as they would know exactly what to expect.

Dysport was studied and formulated in Unutied Kingdom (UK).

Dsyport was cioned from Dystornia and Porton where it was studied. Thanks to IPSEN it was brought here in the Philippines.

Here are some shots of the slide where Dra. Michelle Manuel explains aging and the factors that affect aging.

Botulinum /Bot-chu-lin-yum/

is a powedery substance that is diluted in 0.9% NaCl (NSS).

Only topical anesthesia is needed but I’d rather suggest to numb it with ice pack because effects are faster and numbs a whole more muscles rather than topical anesthesia.

Incisions didn’t hurt even a single bit but the administration of Dysport can give  a tolerable pain.

Dysport prevents your face from having those sagging facial muscles and making the wrinkles less evident. Its ideal for those whose lifestyle are very stressful ;)

Its a safe formulation that won’t even have to worry about side effects. Well, If there would be… I would be reporting them too. ;) I’ve had it on my cheeks and jaws.

Thank you Skinstation doctors for doing the procedures well. I am definitely more confident for close ups now. ;)

Consult SkinStation now and find out where you need it most!

Brights!

What I was really happy about is this necklace from my mom ^^ Gold Marbles. @VintageFinds

My skin turned a little tanned. Noticed it? Thought I needed a little color since my skin had always been pale. Besides I think TAN is sexy ;)

Rip 10 years from your age with DERMAL FILLERS!

I was fortunate to be involved with Skinstation and be able to witness every doctor’s training. I was able to learn a handful of realistic facts about surgical and non-surgical bits of beauty enhancers.

One of the most controversial of all aesthetic enhancers are what they call botox, face lift, revisage or dermal fillers. It can be applied in almost every part of the body and depending on what the doctors will use.

My first training was with JUVIDERM fillers which was used to enhance the cheeks.

The next training went more exciting as GALDERMA gave us exclusive training under their expense PLUS! we were able to learn and try RESTYLANE on the nose, cheeks, chin and even on the back hand.

*Training was held at KAYA korean restaurant along Jupiter street.

What I liked about restylane is that its natural. It won’t give you problems such as cysts, cancer and other infections. Restylane uses Hyaluronic Acid where it could also be found inside the human body so its safe.

Trainer, Dra. Cristina Puyat thought us how to get their concent when doing the proceedure, how to use dermal fillers with proper administration of anesthesia, tecniques on pain management and even dos and donts of using dermal fillers.

The test was on cheeks and chin.

This was on nose.

With this procedure the enhancements last up to 18 months (well depending on the individual).

and finally on the back hands.

This time with the use of RESTYLANE VITAL LIGHT.

After training we were rewarded with a full meal ^^

Bottom line:

Juviderm is really expensive but it would last pretty longer than natural enhancers like Retylane Lidocane.

For the doctors, Restylane is much easier to administer compared to Juviderm. Why? Because the formulation is softer.

With regards to the results, waiting time for visible results is just minutes for Restylane while Juviderm requires a few hours and a facial massage to get the formula to it its spot and form.

Bold Curves

My figure was emphasized with this body hugging dress plus plain dark gives the illusion of slim figure. I also got the chance to take advantage of the angel wing sleeves because it was able to conceal some portions of my arms.

Casual Fridays : Laces and Bling

Am I losing weight or not? :)

Actually the trick here is printed clothes lessens the focus on your figure plus add some huge belt to give that hourglass look. Wait… my waist isn’t that big neither was it too small err.. “26” my real problem was at my lower half which is my legs. Even when I lose weight… it stays the same.

Got any good idea how to make me proportional? Are you saying jogging, stationary bikes and treadmills? nah-uh! I’ve done those and none of it had worked to vanish all those fats. ~_~

Today I wasn’t on the plain side because my clothing was fabricated with lace (top:Shapes). So it won’t jive a huge brooch so I searched inside my treasure chest if there was anything that will go well with my top. Good thing I saw my lost friend…

I had this silver bling since college but I don’t wear them since I though it was too outdated. But I missed it and specially my papa saying that I looked like a rapper with it.

I MISS YOU PAPA! I’LL HUG YOU WHEN I GET HOME (that would be on my next long weekend)! :D +++ credits to MAMA for the silver necklace and her jeweler for crafting this bling. Miss you guys! <3
